Opa! Carnaval 2026 is happening this Sunday, March 1st, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at House of Yes in Brooklyn, New York — bringing an unforgettable Brazilian celebration to the city.
The event will transform the entire venue into a Brazilian Carnaval experience, bringing together live music, DJs, food, dance, visual arts, and theatrical performances throughout the day and evening.

Live Music and DJs
The program features live Samba Reggae from Bahia performed by Mambembé New York and additional artists to be announced. A lineup of DJs will present a diverse range of Carnaval-inspired music.
Brazilian Cuisine
Guests will enjoy Brazilian food offerings, including vegan and gluten-free options.
Arts, Dance, and Performances
The celebration will also showcase Brazilian visual arts curated by Angelica Walker Projects, as well as a Brazilian dance workshop led by Angelita Sorlando. Throughout the event, attendees can expect immersive theatrical elements, including iconic Carnaval characters, live performances, and pop-up acts by various artists.
A complimentary makeup and costume station will be available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offering guests an opportunity to enhance their Carnaval attire.
Family-Friendly Hours
From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the event welcomes children accompanied by a legal guardian. Children under 12 will receive complimentary admission during this time.
