The quick spread of the COVID-19 virus has already imposed significant costs in human life and economic activity. The human costs are tragic, but the economic costs are also. The pandemic has seriously disrupted international trade and investment. The second installment of our series Surviving COVID-19 brought together several practitioners in international trade and foreign direct investment to inform us on the most serious issues including legal, logistics, and finance of international commerce – and how these practitioners or their clients are dealing with the problems.
