Brazil has just joined a global trend toward tougher privacy laws with a bold new statute, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais or “LGPD” – imposing major new obligations on all companies that touch Brazilian consumers. The panel explored how companies, across business sectors and around the globe, now must plan for compliance of the new laws.
