2020 has presented challenges across the labor market, not the least of which is new entrants. Although the pandemic has moved many companies to focus on hiring undergrads and recent graduates, the overall uncertainty has affected new hiring across many demographics. We bring together a distinguished panel of labor market participants and advisors to present their views on the current state of affairs and the prospects for 2021 and beyond. The Chamber hosted a live discussion with the Brazilian Student Association (BRASA) and the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) on the future of the job market and the relations between Brazil, the US, and Canada. The discussion also brought relevant insights to experienced professionals and executives.

BRASA is the largest organization of Brazilian students abroad, with more than 10,000 members across the globe. Its mission is to empower the next generation of Brazilian leaders. The organization does this by helping students pursue their studies at the best universities in the world, connecting Brazilians abroad and creating bridges for them to come back and become leaders in Brazil. In 2018, BRASA launched its fellowship program, Bolsas BRASA, that helps low-income, high-achieving students complete their studies abroad.
