Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the initial purchasers on the US$350 million secured notes issued by Giga Mais Fibra Telecomunicações S.A., a Brazilian telecommunications services company, focused on providing broadband internet access via fiber optics and with a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network covering more than 8.3 million homes distributed across 313 cities.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used to refinance certain outstanding local indebtedness of the company in Brazil.

The White & Case team was led by partners John Guzman (São Paulo) and Rafael Roberti (New York); and included partner Chad McCormick (Houston) and associate Thor Fielland (Houston). Law clerk Camilo Vasquez (São Paulo) also assisted on the matter.
