Thank you for joining us for a luncheon honoring departing President & Chairperson of the Board Simoni Morato and welcoming President-Elect William Landers.

Ms. Morato, President & CEO of Safra National Bank of New York, has served as President & Chairperson of the Board of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce since 2020. Mr. Landers, Managing Director at BTG Pactual, has been elected to succeed Ms. Morato as President & Chairperson of the Board and will be inducted into office.

We also took the opportunity to present Sergio Pereira with the Special Merit Award, in recognition of his special support, counsel, and service to the Chamber, strengthening ties between Brazil and the United States. Mr. Pereira has been affiliated with the Chamber since 1979, serving in numerous roles including Director, Vice President, President (1984-86), and current Co-Chairperson of the Executive Committee.
