Skadden is representing Grupo México, S.A.B. de C.V. and its subsidiary Americas Mining Corporation in the proposed combination of two if its units, Southern Copper Corporation and Asarco LLC, announced July 23rd. Southern Copper will be the surviving entity and list shares in both the United States and Peru after the deal. Grupo México is Mexico's largest mining company.
